Tennis Ball Cricket

Rules

  • Official Tennis Balls will be provided for the Matches

  • 11 Playing Members + 4 Squad Players (Can only field in case of substitution)

  • Hard Tennis Balls will be used for all Matches.

  • 10 Overs per Side. One Bowler can bowl maximum of 2 Overs.

  • Power Play for First 3 Overs (Only 3 Fielders allowed on Boundary)

  • All standard rules except the offside rule will be applicable

  • No Ball would result in the Next Ball being a FREE HIT.

  • In case of a tie in scores, the result will be decided on the basis of Super Over.

  • All Other Latest Standard MCC Cricket Rules Apply.

  • If a match is interrupted or abandoned due to rain, re-match will be played. This would be done on an available time slot and might have to be played even on a weekday.

  • At any given time only the Captain of the Team must & has the right to speak.

  • The playing teams must be present THIRTY (30) minutes before the start of the play and are also requested to take care of their own belongings, as the organizers will not be responsible for loss of their property or valuables.

  • Organizers will not be responsible for any injuries or mishaps at the venue. The participants are requested to carry their own safety equipment.

  • In case of a possible dispute regarding a hit for 4/6 runs and /or a catch at the boundary, fielders are advised to stay put and help the umpire make the decision by holding their ground. Benefit of doubt shall always go to the batsman.

  • One representative from each playing side will accompany the official scorer and inform him about the player's detail. They also need to check time and again the Data and Spellings of the player, which would be used for our record purpose. In case the representative is not available, no corrections or amendments would be allowed later.

  • All players must carry their Photo ID Cards or a letter from the company authorizing the player to be an employee of the company. In absence of this, the player would not be allowed to play the match.

  • If a Player from one company participates for a particular team, he has to represent the same team throughout the tournament.

  • The decision of the Steering Committee shall be final in all matters. On field the umpire's decision would be considered final.
